What is EastIron?

EastIron on mobiiliäpp Dnepr, Ural, Jawa ja teiste nõukogude mootorrataste omanikele. Äpp aitab hoida arvet hoolduste üle, leiab varuosade koode ning ühendab ratturite kogukonna.

EastIron is a mobile app for owners of Dnepr, Ural, Jawa and other Soviet motorcycles. The app helps track maintenance, find spare part codes, and connects the community of riders.

Ratta lisamine

Vajuta "+ Lisa" nupule. Sisesta ratta nimi, mudel, aastakäik ja läbisõit. Saad lisada ka ülevaatuse ja kindlustuse lõppemise kuupäeva.

Hooldusgraafik

Äpp näitab hoolduste tähtaegu km-de järgi. Punane = ületähtaeg, kollane = varsti, roheline = korras.

Vajuta hooldusel et märkida see tehtuks — see salvestub hoolduslogisse automaatselt.

Saad lisada ka oma intervalle "Lisa oma intervall" nupuga.

Hoolduslog

Ülevaatus ja kindlustus

Lisa kuupäevad ratta andmetesse. Äpp näitab neid ratta ekraanil ja teavitab kui tähtaeg läheneb.

Adding a bike

Tap the "+ Add" button. Enter the bike name, model, year and odometer. You can also add inspection and insurance expiry dates.

Maintenance schedule

The app shows maintenance deadlines by km. Red = overdue, yellow = due soon, green = OK.

Tap a maintenance item to mark it done — this saves to the log automatically.

You can add custom intervals with the "Add custom interval" button.

Maintenance log

All completed work is recorded here. Entry types:

  • Maintenance — regular service
  • Repair — repair work
  • Part — part replacement
  • Oil change — oil change
  • Defect — unresolved issue (stays at top until marked done)
  • Note — other information

Inspection and insurance

Add dates to your bike details. The app shows them on the bike screen and notifies you when they are due.

Navigate between diagrams using the arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen.

A forum for questions and answers. Create a new topic with the "+ New topic" button.

You can attach a model to your topic — this helps others with the same bike find it.

Sõidud

Rides

Siit näed kõiki planeeritud ühissõite.

  • Liitu olemasoleva sõiduga "Liitu sõiduga" nupuga
  • Korraldada uus sõit "+ Korraldada uus sõit" nupuga
  • Osalejatega vestlus 💬 nupuga (nähtav pärast liitumist)

Privaatne sõit

Here you see all planned group rides.

  • Join an existing ride with the "Join ride" button
  • Organise a new ride with "+ Organise ride"
  • Chat with participants via the 💬 button (visible after joining)

Private ride

When creating a ride, tick "Private ride" — only invited people will see it. Invite friends with the "+ Invite" button on the ride card.

Kui teel juhtub midagi — rike, õnnetus, vajad abi — saad sellest kogukonnale teada anda otse Sõidud-ekraanilt.

Vajuta "Saada"

Sinu abipalve ilmub kohe kõigi teiste kasutajate Sõidud-ekraani ülaossa koos sinu nime, sõnumi ja ajaga. Kui asukoht jagati, saavad nad selle "📍 Vaata kaardil" nupuga Google Mapsis avada.

Korraga saab aktiivne olla ainult üks abipalve inimese kohta. Kui olukord on lahenenud, vajuta oma abipalve juures "✓ Sain abi" — see kaob siis kõigi vaates ära.
Abipalve nägemiseks peavad teised kasutajad hetkel Sõidud-ekraani avama — push-teavitust selle kohta veel ei saadeta.

If something happens on the road — a breakdown, an accident, you need help — you can let the community know directly from the Rides screen.

Open the "Rides" screen and tap the red "🆘 Need Help" button

Describe what happened and whether you need help

Leave "Share my location" checked if you want others to see where you are (the app will ask for GPS permission)

Tap "Send"

Your alert immediately appears at the top of the Rides screen for all other users, with your name, message and time. If you shared your location, they can open it in Google Maps with the "📍 View on map" button.

Only one active alert per person is allowed at a time. Once the situation is resolved, tap "✓ I'm OK" on your alert — it then disappears from everyone's view.
Others currently need to open the Rides screen to see an alert — push notifications for this aren't sent yet.

Friends & Chat

Ava: vajuta oma nimi üleval paremal → "👥 Sõbrad"

Sõbra lisamine

Sisesta sõbra emailiaadress ja vajuta "Otsi". Kui kasutaja leiti, vajuta "Lisa sõbraks". Sõber peab kutse kinnitama.

Sõnumid

Vajuta sõbra kõrval 💬 nupule et alustada vestlust.

Grupivestlus

Vajuta "+ Grupp" nupule, anna nimi ja vali sõbrad.

Lugemata sõnumite korral ilmub punane täpp oma nime kõrvale.

Open: tap your name in the top right → "👥 Friends"

Adding a friend

Enter your friend's email and tap "Search". If found, tap "Add friend". Your friend must confirm the request.

Messages

Tap the 💬 button next to a friend to start a conversation.

Group chat

Tap "+ Group", give it a name and select friends.

A red dot appears next to your name when you have unread messages.

Teavitused

Notifications

Äpp saadab teavitusi:

  • Ülevaatuse lõppemise kohta (30, 14 ja 7 päeva enne)
  • Kindlustuse lõppemise kohta (30, 14 ja 7 päeva enne)
  • Kuu alguses odomeetri uuendamise meeldetuletus

Teavituste sisse/välja lülitamiseks: vajuta oma nimi → "🔔 Teavitused"

The app sends notifications about:

  • Upcoming inspection expiry (30, 14 and 7 days before)
  • Upcoming insurance expiry (30, 14 and 7 days before)
  • Monthly reminder to update odometer

To enable/disable: tap your name → "🔔 Notifications"
